Gonzaga’s Courtney Vandersloot Becomes Chicago Sky’s All-Time Leading Scorer

Congratulations are in order for Courtney Vandersloot becoming the Chicago Sky’s all-time leading scorer at 3,724 (and counting) points. The point guard passed her wife, Allie Quigley, who played with the Sky from 2013-2022. The couple won the 2021 WNBA title together.

The future WNBA Hall of Famer Vandersloot is now 1 of 5 players to lead a franchise in points, assists, and steals. She joins Diana Taurasi (Phoenix Mercury), Sue Bird (Seattle Storm), Angel McCoughtry (Atlanta Dream), and Tamika Catchings (Indiana Fever).

A full circle moment in so many ways for Courtney Vandersloot

She’s still competing at a high level in her 15th professional season, averaging 11.4 points on a 44.2 field goal percentage, 6.0 assists, 3.0 rebounds, and 2.2 steals through the first five games of the 2025 campaign. The floor general is also taking Hailey Van Lith under her wing and helping the No. 11 pick of the 2025 WNBA Draft adjust during her first year.

Vandersloot is coming off her second WNBA championship with the New York Liberty. It’s hard to believe that two of the greatest guards that the game of basketball has ever seen both came from Gonzaga (Vandersloot and John Stockton).
