Gonzaga’s pair of guards in Nolan Hickman and Khalif Battle have been invited to participate in the Portsmouth Invitational Tournament in the state of Virginia. The event runs from April 16th through April 12th.

This tournament has been running since 1953 in order to give college basketball players the opportunity to compete before professional scouts. Eight teams of eight players each play a 12 game tournament over four days.

Names like Gonzaga’s own John Stockton, Rick Barry, Earl “The Pearl” Monroe, Scottie Pippen, Tim Hardaway, Dennis Rodman, Jeremy Lin, and Jimmy Butler have competed in the tournament’s past and gone on to have amazing NBA careers.
