The senior forward tied a career-high 18 points and set a new career high with 11 rebounds for her first double-double of the season. She shot 57.1% (8-of-14) from the field. The transfer from Colorado State also finished with three assists and two steals.
Payton Hull, Abilene Christian
Hull posted 23 points and tied a career-high with nine rebounds while playing all 40 minutes in the Wildcats’ 67-57 loss to Texas Tech. That’s her fourth 20-point game of the season. The junior guard, who leads the WAC in scoring at 17.9, has scored in double figures in 30 straight games.
Avery Koenen, North Dakota State
Koenen had a monster game in NDSU’s 83-55 win at Eastern Illinois, which was the Bison’s sixth straight win. The junior forward notched a game-high 22 points and a career-best 16 rebounds for her fourth straight double-double. She also compiled four steals and three assists. The Montevideo, Minn., native ranks top five in country in double-double and field goal percentage.
Mancini came up big as the Bulldogs earned the program’s first-ever win over a Power-4 conference foe. She tied a career-high with 28 points to go along with five rebounds and two assists in Bryant’s 80-71 win over Boston College out of the ACC. The junior guard came on strong after halftime as she scored 17 in the second half points and was cool under pressure by going 6-for-6 from the free throw line in the final 32 seconds. The Mansfield, Mass., is fifth in the America East in scoring (15.2 ppg) and 3-point shooting (39%).
