The CW has extended its television contract with the Pac-12 Conference from 2026-2031.
The new deal will consist of 13 regular-season football games, 35 regular-season men’s basketball games, 15 regular-season women’s basketball games, plus three women’s basketball tournament games (semifinals and championship). That’s 66 total sporting events to be all produced by Pac-12 Enterprises in 2026.
This national exposure on a free network will only boost Gonzaga’s recruiting, donations, and national brand visibility. The media payout is projected to be $8 million annually in thanks to Pac-12 Commissioner Teresa Gould’s negotiation skills. Octagon, the Pac-12’s exclusive media rights advisor, was the group that helped facilitate this contract alongside Gould.
“Our partnership with The CW has been one of mutual growth and transformation, from the development of our Pac-12 Enterprises’ broadcast production business to the significant added value and positive impact to our current and future members via true national reach across 100% of U.S. television households. I am excited for the continued growth of both The CW and the Pac-12 in the years ahead!” – Pac-12 Commissioner Teresa Gould
The Pac-12 also extended its agreement with CBS Sports as the “primary long-term media partner” through 2031 back in June.

This media deal is reportedly projected to pay member schools $7 million annually and potentially somewhere between $9 and $11 million in total distributions per year.
