College football is finally back. Well, sort of. It depends on who you ask.
While most teams, including South Carolina, aren’t playing until next week, there are a handful of games being played on Saturday. In other words, welcome to Week 0 of the college football season.
If you’re a Week 0 truther, you’re in luck. If not, well, you’ve just got to get through this weekend before Week 1 games begin.

The Gamecocks won’t begin their season until Sunday, Aug. 31, when they travel to Atlanta to face Virginia Tech in the Aflac Kickoff Game. But starting this weekend, it’s time to start diving back into our weekly staff picks from the GamecockCentral and 107.5 The Game crew.
