All-County Football: Offense

The Claremore Daily Progress All-County Football team was selected from nine county programs — Claremore, Catoosa, Oologah, Inola, Verdigris, Sequoyah, Chelsea, Foyil and Claremore Christian — based on coach nominations and statistics.

Players were evaluated by position-specific production and overall impact, with offensive selections emphasizing yardage, scoring production and grades.

Here is an in-depth look at the first-team offense:

AWARD WINNERS

Large School Offensive MVP: Cecil Garrett IV | Claremore | Senior Running Back

Garrett rushed for 1,565 yards and 19 touchdowns on 240 carries, serving as Claremore’s primary feature back and one of the county’s highest-volume rushers. He dded 13 receptions for 117 yards, contributing as a steady check-down and perimeter option in the passing game, and made an impact on special teams with 11 kickoff returns for 259 yards (23.5 avg.), consistently helping flip field position.

Small School Offensive MVP: Troy Frank | Claremore Christian | Senior Athlete

Frank rushed for 1,027 yards and 18 touchdowns on just 90 carries, averaging an explosive 11.4 yards per carry as Claremore Christian’s big-play back. He added 8 receptions for 119 yards and 4 receiving touchdowns and completed 22 of 31 passes for 229 yards and 3 TD with no interceptions while also contributing on special teams with a kickoff return touchdown, adding to his 25 total offensive scores on the season.

Kellen Gaede | Claremore | Junior Quarterback

Gaede directed Claremore’s offense with efficiency and balance, throwing for 1,721 yards and 19 touchdowns against 5 interceptions, completing 56.1% of his passes while adding 243 yards rushing and 3 scores.

Jayce Kent | Inola | Freshman Running Back

Kent rushed for 895 yards and 14 touchdowns on 141 carries [6.4 ypc] for Inola, adding 11 receptions for 93 yards while also contributing on defense and special teams during a breakout first varsity season.

Brennan Lawley | Inola | Senior Running Back

Lawley provided steady production for Inola, rushing for 896 yards and 11 touchdowns on 141 carries [6.4 ypc] while serving as a reliable early-down runner and consistent offensive presence throughout the season.

Peyton Stelling | Verdigris | Junior Running Back

Stelling powered Verdigris with 1,311 rushing yards and 9 touchdowns on 221 carries [5.9 ypc] while adding 30 receptions for 365 yards, demonstrating durability and versatility as the Cardinals’ primary offensive workhorse.

Hudson Lee | Claremore | Senior Wide Receiver / Punter

Lee caught 27 passes for 504 yards and 4 touchdowns for Claremore and also handled punting duties on special teams, totaling 28 punts for 829 yards while serving as the Zebras’ top receiving threat.

Mason Weeks | Sequoyah | Junior Wide Receiver

Weeks caught 32 passes for 661 yards and 6 touchdowns for Sequoyah while also contributing across special teams as a kicker and both punt and kickoff returner during the season.

Malachi Zehder | Claremore Christian | Junior Wide Receiver

Zehder caught 53 passes for 959 yards and 20 touchdowns for Claremore Christian while also adding 2 rushing attempts for 119 yards and 2 touchdowns, finishing as the Warriors’ leading receiver and primary scoring threat.

Caleb Bates | Chelsea | Junior H-Back

Bates rushed for 320 yards and 2 touchdowns on 66 carries and caught 29 passes for 203 yards and a touchdown for Chelsea, serving as a versatile hybrid backfield and receiving option in the Green Dragons’ offense.

Jarred Dorsey | Foyil | Junior Offensive Lineman

Dorsey earned an A-minus offensive-line grade for Foyil while starting throughout the season, anchoring the Panthers’ interior line and providing consistent run-blocking production against opposing defensive fronts.

Alejandro Gallegos | Inola | Junior Offensive Lineman

Gallegos posted an 85% offensive-line grade for Inola, starting throughout the season and providing reliable blocking production across the Longhorns’ offensive front in both run and pass protection schemes.

Preston Hollis | Claremore | Sophomore Offensive Lineman

Hollis started every game for Claremore and was named the Zebras’ best offensive lineman by coach Jarrett Hurt, anchoring the offensive front and providing consistent protection and run-blocking production.

Noah McClurg | Claremore Christian | Senior Offensive Lineman

McClurg recorded a 92% offensive-line grade for Claremore Christian, starting throughout the season and leading the Warriors’ offensive front with dominant run-blocking and consistent pass-protection performance across the year.

Ryne Near | Claremore | Junior Offensive Lineman

Near started every game for Claremore while playing injured most of the season, anchoring the Zebras’ offensive line at the snap position and providing steady protection calls and interior blocking throughout the year.

Dawson Shanholtzer | Verdigris | Junior Offensive Lineman

Shanholtzer recorded an 84% offensive-line grade with 28 pancakes for Verdigris, starting throughout the season and delivering strong run-blocking production and physical interior line play for the Cardinals’ offense.

Orasio Flores | Foyil | Senior Athlete

Flores caught 17 passes for 435 yards and 3 touchdowns and rushed 12 times for 256 yards and 3 touchdowns for Foyil, providing explosive production as both a downfield receiver and jetsweep runner.

Ayden Gaines | Oologah | Junior Athlete

Gaines caught 47 passes for 589 yards and 7 touchdowns and rushed 54 times for 331 yards and 3 touchdowns for Oologah while also contributing on special teams as both a punt and kickoff returner.

Virgil Pendergraft | Foyil | Sophomore Athlete

Pendergraft rushed for 1,225 yards and 15 touchdowns on 160 carries [7.7 ypc] and caught 17 passes for 345 yards and 3 touchdowns for Foyil while adding 3 punt-return touchdowns and 1 kickoff-return score.

Jaxon Burton | Claremore | Junior Kicker

Burton converted 6 of 10 field goals with a long of 46 yards and made 25 of 27 extra points while providing effective kickoff placement that contributed to multiple Zebras onside-kick recoveries.
