Waylon Wooten is a big defensive line recruit in the 2027 class.

He checks in at 6-foot-2, 315 pounds as a football player who hasn’t even played his senior season in high school yet. It’s no surprise he boasts nearly 40 offers from all over the country. You can’t teach size, and a lot of programs wanted a piece of Wooten.

At the end of the day, his recruitment came down to just a few schools, though. From Loganville, Georgia, he was obviously a major Georgia Bulldogs fan.

The Ohio State Buckeyes, Florida Gators and Purdue Boilermakers were also in the running for his commitment.

Ultimately, he decided to play for Kirby Smart and his dream school: Georgia. Wooten committed to the Bulldogs on Wednesday.
