Class of 2026 four-star prospect Jalan Wingfield released his top eight programs, including the Cincinnati Bearcats, per Joe Tipton.
The 6-foot-7 power forward also named Auburn, South Carolina, Vanderbilt, Ole Miss, Florida State, Georgia Tech, and Kennesaw State in the cut.
He is ranked as the 99th-best prospect in the class and the 14th overall power forward. Wingfield, a native of Thomasville, Georgia, also placed No. 7 among players from his home state, according to On3.
Wingfield already has ties to the Cincinnati program, as his father, Dontonio Wingfield, played his collegiate career with the Bearcats before spending four seasons in the NBA with the Seattle Supersonics and the Portland Trail Blazers.
Heading into his senior season, he will play his final year of high school basketball with Tri-Cities High School, which is located in East Point, Georgia.
The Bearcats have yet to receive any official commitments from recruits in the 2026 cycle. Head coach Wes Miller is entering his fifth season leading the program and looks to reach the NCAA Tournament for the first time.
Miller has guided Cincinnati to at least 18 wins in his first four seasons, including a 23-13 finish in 2022-23. The team has not reached March Madness since the 2018-19 campaign.
