Where They Are Now- Former ESPN Personalities (1:16)

College football fans have been keeping former ESPN analyst David Pollack in their thoughts this week.

On Monday afternoon, the former Georgia football star asked his fans to pray for him and his family. He revealed that his wife was set to undergo surgery at Duke to treat her brain cancer.

“I do not share much of my personal life on social media but today is gonna be different,” Pollack said. “If you are the praying type please lift up my wife Lindsey. She has brain cancer and surgery is Wednesday at Duke. So thankful to serve a loving God that meets us in our struggles.”

Before his wife’s procedure on Wednesday, the former College GameDay analyst shared a beautiful message on social media. He mad it clear that he’s so thankful for everyone’s support.

“I know we hear a lot of negativity in this world but I’m so blown away by all the positivity and love,” Pollack wrote on X. “Felt it from so many! Just met a man & his wife in the hospital who walked up to me & my family & prayed for us! God is so good!”

Pollack’s post this Wednesday was immediately met with kind remarks from his followers.

“When you spread love, it comes back to you. You have earned all the love you’ve felt,” one fan replied.

“Praying for God‘s love to overwhelm you and your wife, so nothing else can,” another person said.

“Praying for your wife and all of your family. Let us know how the surgery goes,” a third fan commented.

Pollack and his wife Lindsey have two children together. They launched a foundation that aims to “educate individuals, families and communities on the benefits of nutrition and exercise, and provide them opportunities to embrace healthy living through eating well and physical activity.”

We’re keeping the Pollack family in our thoughts at this time.
