With official visits wrapped up for the summer, we’re seeing a frenzy of commitments from prospects in the Class of 2027. As of Tuesday night, only four of the top 100 players remain on the board.
But there’s still plenty of talent out there — unless you are looking for a quarterback.
Here’s a look at the 10 most intriguing uncommitted prospects and where things stand for each.

1. Monshun Sales, 5-star WR
High school: Lawrence North, Indianapolis, Ind.Ranking: No. 8 nationally, No. 2 WR
Sales, the highest-ranked uncommitted prospect in the class, seems close to making a decision.

In addition to being the nation’s No. 8 prospect and No. 2 wide receiver, Sales is particularly interesting because he plays at Lawrence North in Indianapolis, about an hour away from Bloomington, the home of coach Curt Cignetti and the defending national champs.
Cignetti’s bread and butter is finding and developing under-recruited talent, but landing a commitment from a player of Sales’ caliber could change the fabric of IU recruiting. Sales seems to be considering it — he took an official visit to Indiana in April, and the Hoosiers have been among his top schools since the spring — but IU would have to beat out some heavy hitters with some big wallets.
Sales also visited Texas, LSU, Alabama and Ohio State. Ohio State has been the premier destination for wideouts in recent years, and Heisman hopeful Jeremiah Smith and freshman Chris Henry Jr., a former five-star recruit, are doing their best to make sure Sales remembers that.
Regardless of where Sales ends up, his commitment is now the biggest one to watch nationally.
2. David Gabriel Georges, 5-star RB
High school: Baylor School, Chattanooga, Tenn.Ranking: No. 10 nationally, No. 2 RB
Sticking with uncommitted five-stars, Gabriel Georges is the No. 2 running back prospect in the class. The 2025 MaxPreps National Player of the Year rushed for more than 1,700 yards last fall, along with 27 touchdowns.
Originally from Canada, Gabriel Georges moved to the United States in 2024 to play at Baylor School (now also the home of Peyton Manning’s quarterback-playing son, Marshall) and unsurprisingly has become one of the most coveted offensive players in the class. Georges initially announced a top four of Ohio State, Tennessee, Ole Miss and Georgia in April, though he did not take an official visit to Georgia.
Tennessee has pulled out all the stops, even enlisting the help of former Vols star and current New Orleans Saints running back Alvin Kamara while Gabriel Georges was on campus for his official visit.

An announcement appears imminent, as Steve Wilfong of Rivals reported on Tuesday that Gabriel Georges has made his decision.
3. Landen Williams-Callis, 5-star RB
High school: Richmond Randle, Richmond, TexasRanking: No. 28 nationally, No. 2 RB
Rounding out the five-stars, keep an eye on Williams-Callis out of Richmond, Texas. He had some of the most jaw-dropping stats in high school football last season: 3,502 yards rushing to go along with 59 touchdowns and an average of 10.8 yards per carry. He took official visits to LSU, Indiana, SMU, Oregon, Houston, Missouri, Texas A&M and Texas. It’ll be fascinating to see if one of the in-state programs can keep him home or if an out-of-state program can snatch him away.
4. Niko Kampas, 4-star OT
High school: NFL Academy, London, EnglandRanking: No. 330 nationally, No. 34 OT
Kampas is originally from Germany but now lives in London to play at the NFL Academy. Even though he’s relatively new to the sport, he’s got the attention of programs from coast to coast and has taken official visits to Tennessee, Michigan, Auburn and Vanderbilt. Last season, he was tested against some of the top high school programs in the country, with games against St. Thomas Aquinas and IMG Academy, both in Florida. So far, he has stayed relatively quiet about his thought process, but he’s a developmental prospect with a very high ceiling who would be a welcome addition to any of his finalists.
5. Daniel Mielke, 3-star QB
High school: Murrieta Valley, Murrieta, Calif.Ranking: No. 1,729 nationally, No. 119 QB (247Sports)
The quarterback market is basically nonexistent at this point — unless a team plans on flipping a prospect who is already committed. Mielke, who ranks No. 119 nationally at the position, is the highest-ranked quarterback on the board. The Southern California native recently took an official visit to Portland State. He also picked up a recent offer from UAB as the Blazers look to get back on track in the post-Trent Dilfer era.
6. Ta’Shawn Poole, 4-star S
High school: Howard, Macon, Ga.Ranking: No. 68 nationally, No. 5 S
Poole, the highest-rated uncommitted defensive prospect in the class, is set to announce his decision next week. All three of his finalists could use him. Florida State desperately needs some momentum under coach Mike Norvell after a second consecutive losing season in 2025, and Poole would be the Seminoles’ first top-100 recruit in this class. Georgia, the home-state blue blood, has zero defensive backs in this class. And Tennessee has gotten off to a slow start with a class that currently ranks No. 32 nationally. Poole announces July 17.
7. Kadin Fife, 4-star DL
High school: Cherokee County, Centre, Ala.Ranking: No. 360 nationally, No. 40 DL
Fife is originally from Georgia but now plays at a high school in Alabama and was once committed to Tennessee. Got it? He decommitted from the Vols last month and has since said that his recruitment is “100 percent” open. Fife originally picked Tennessee over offers from Georgia, Alabama, Texas, Texas A&M, Oklahoma and others. For what it’s worth, he took official visits to Georgia and Ole Miss this summer. He also reposted content on social media that suggests he might want to play for the Crimson Tide. Georgia quarterback Colton Nussmeier is hoping the Bulldogs are the choice.

8. Cade Haug, 3-star LB
High school: Kingwood, Humble, TexasRanking: No. 585 nationally, No. 45 LB
Haug may be ranked in the high 500s, but the Texas native has picked up plenty of Power 4 traction, and after decommitting from Texas last month, he reported offers from Michigan and Oklahoma State. He’s also received offers from Houston, Minnesota, Memphis, Oregon State, Purdue, Arkansas, SMU, North Carolina and Kentucky.
9. Seth Tillman, 4-star DL
High school: South Pointe, Rock Hill, S.C.Ranking: No. 127 nationally, No. 13 DL
Keep an eye out for Tillman, a 6-foot-2, 294-pound defensive lineman from South Carolina. He is down to four schools: Clemson, South Carolina, Michigan and Georgia. Dabo Swinney and the Tigers appear to be the favorites.
10. Censere Gaylord, 4-star CB
High school: IMG Academy, Bradenton, Fla.Ranking: No. 166 nationally, No. 19 CB
Gaylord is also expected to issue a commitment on Saturday, and he announced an eclectic final four in April that consisted of Georgia, Georgia Tech, Washington and Auburn. Gaylord is originally from California but currently plays at IMG Academy in Florida. Does he stay in the Southeast or head back West?
