The Wake Forest Demon Deacons have landed a player who they hope can be the future of their program.
That would be Emmett Queen, a three-star quarterback from Fort Mitchell, Kentucky.
Queen has nearly 20 offers to his name, but the big-time programs that were vying for his attention have been Wake Forest, in-state Kentucky and Arizona State.
Queen took a visit to Wake Forest to watch spring practice this past weekend, and that was enough to win him over.
On Monday, he committed to the Demon Deacons, citing his relationship with head coach Jake Dickert and the staff.
“What really made Wake stand out for me was how genuine the coaches were from the start, coach (Jake) Dickert, coach (Rob) Ezell, coach (Dan) Enos, and the whole staff felt real in every conversation. I connected with them personally, felt their belief in me, and knew this was the place where I could grow and help push Wake toward that elite level,” Queen told Rivals’ Greg Smith.
