BRIDGING THE NETWORKS FROM COAST TO COAST TO COAST
In November Field Hockey Canada proudly unveiled the new digital home for its successful Stick Together initiative: https://fhcsticktogether.ca/. The website is a centralized hub for local programs, resources, and communities across Canada. It operates as an online community centre, bridging the national network of projects to share success stories and resources as we continue to build on the incredible work taking place in communities across Canada.
Field Hockey Canada’s Stick Together, aims to break down barriers and grow field hockey across the nation by targeting underserved groups and marginalized communities. Projects have already included access to field hockey for Indigenous peoples, groups from Black, 2SLGBTQQIA+, and racialized communities, as well as persons with disabilities or from low-income families.
The new web-hub is the living centre for Stick Together, bringing communities across Canada together.
To compliment this, Field Hockey Canada, alongside leaders from the East and West, will be hosting a National Summit on December 15th at 4pm PDT / 5pm MDT /7pm EDT / 8pm ADT. We will be using this summit to sharing success stories, resources, and connect as one network.
