A source said that the Vancouver Canucks had initially been asking for a first-round pick and a prospect for Kiefer Sherwood, but his production has slowed, and the price may be coming down. The Boston Bruins, New York Islanders, Buffalo Sabres, and Detroit Red Wings showed previous interest.
