Jaiden Bryant is one of the elite EDGE recruits in the country.
According to the 247Sports Composite, he’s a five-star, ranked as the No. 2 player at his position and the No. 20 recruit overall.
From Columbia, South Carolina, Bryant had been committed to new head coach Lane Kiffin and the LSU Tigers since January.
At the time, LSU landed the commitment over the Alabama Crimson Tide, Clemson Tigers, Georgia Bulldogs, Miami Hurricanes and Texas A&M Aggies.
The Hurricanes apparently kept pushing, though. In fact, Mario Cristobal got Bryant onto campus for an official visit with Miami this past weekend.
That visit went so well that it led to a flip.
Bryant decommitted from LSU and flipped to Miami on Tuesday.
Jaiden Bryant talks about visit to Miami
“It went great,” Bryant told Rivals of the visit. “Some highlights from this weekend were spending time with some of the guys and some of the players already on the team. I just had an all-around great time. I appreciated the way the coaches treated me and my family. I felt love here. I felt wanted.”
Miami wasn’t the only program keeping after the 5-star. Texas A&M had an official visit scheduled that got cancelled, and the South Carolina Gamecocks were expecting an official visit this upcoming weekend.
Bryant is shutting things down, though. There will be no more official visits and Miami is the place for him. That’s, at least, what he’s saying.
