Formula 1 returns this weekend for the seventh round of the 2026 season at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya – and here are all the details you need to know about the global start times for Sunday’s race and where to watch.

After Kimi Antonelli secured his fifth win in succession with a maiden victory in Monaco, his rivals will have to chase and close the gap in the Drivers’ Championship which already stands at 66 points.

Head to the RACE HUB or scroll down for more on how and when you can watch the action, along with the global start times for each session.

What time is the 2026 Barcelona-Catalunya Grand Prix?

Free Practice 1 will start proceedings at 1330 local time on Friday, June 12, followed by Free Practice 2 at 1700.

Saturday, June 13 will see Free Practice 3 get underway at 1230 before the all-important Qualifying hour at 1600. The Grand Prix itself begins at 1500 on Sunday, June 14.

Check out the image below to find all the global start times for Sunday’s race.

How can I watch the 2026 Barcelona-Catalunya Grand Prix?

You can enjoy coverage from every session live on F1 TV Pro (available in selected countries), which brings fans closer to the action via exclusive features like onboard cameras on all 22 of the drivers’ cars, and access to both Pre-Race and Post-Race Shows.

F1 TV Pro can be streamed easily via Apple TV, Chromecast Generation 2 and above, Android TV, Google TV, Amazon Fire TV, and Roku. F1 TV Pro is free of ad breaks and available with commentary in six languages.

Fans can also watch via F1 TV Premium, a premier service that invites fans to step into the heart of the action with the ability to watch races in 4K Ultra HD/HDR on up to six different devices, as well as a personalised Multiview feature available on select devices with 26 different feeds to choose from.

Viewers can watch every F1 Grand Prix, F1 Sprint, Qualifying and practice session live in 4K Ultra HD/HDR at home, with F2, F3, F1 ACADEMY and Porsche Supercup sessions also available to watch live on the platform.

Alternatively, live timing will be available on F1.com and the F1 app across every session during the Grand Prix weekend.

Where is the 2026 Barcelona-Catalunya Grand Prix taking place?

The Barcelona-Catalunya Grand Prix will be held at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya, which first appeared on the Formula 1 calendar in 1991 and was won by Nigel Mansell, having gone wheel-to-wheel with Ayrton Senna down the main straight in an iconic move.

A favourite pre-season testing venue, it has been visited every single year by F1 since 1991, making this the 36th time the track will be host a Grand Prix. However, it will do so under a new moniker – the Barcelona-Catalunya Grand Prix – having previously been known as the Spanish Grand Prix which Madrid is set to host around a new circuit later this season.

Michael Schumacher and Lewis Hamilton share the most wins at the track with six, while last season, Oscar Piastri led home team mate Lando Norris for a McLaren 1-2.

What is the weather forecast in Barcelona?

Conditions currently look pleasant throughout the weekend in Spain, with clear skies and bright sunshine expected from Friday to Sunday at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya.

A maximum temperature of 27 degrees Celsius is expected on Saturday and Sunday, with no rain currently forecasted at any point during the event.

When can I watch F2 and F3 during the 2026 Barcelona-Catalunya Grand Prix weekend?

After an action-packed fourth round in Monaco, F2 will continue in Barcelona with Free Practice taking place at 1105 local time on Friday, June 12. Qualifying for all 22 drivers will take place later the same day at 1555.

The first racing action will take place with the Sprint Race on Saturday, June 13, at 1415, with the main Feature Race taking place on Sunday, June 14, at 1125.

F3 will also be in action once again, starting with Free Practice at 0955 on Friday, June 12, before Qualifying at 1500. The Sprint Race will take place at 1005 on Saturday, June 13, with the Feature Race on Sunday, June 14, at 0840.
