Andre Drummond Named Creative Director Of Stria Sport

The hoops shoe market continues to diversify, with giants like Nike and adidas now facing fresh competition both domestically and overseas. One emerging name to watch is Stria Sport, founded in 2021 by lifelong athlete and sneakerhead Eric Porter. The brand has been on a steady upward climb ever since, and that momentum only strengthens with the addition of a household name: 14-year NBA veteran Andre Drummond has officially joined as Creative Director.

More than 100 professional basketball players around the world have laced up Stria shoes in competition, and the company also serves as the official footwear partner of the Harlem Globetrotters. Stria currently offers three models: one for basketball, one for lifestyle, and even a pickleball shoe.

Drummond is expected to play a pivotal role in developing the brand’s next basketball silhouette while helping shape Stria’s broader footwear and apparel vision. The big man also has real skin in the game, investing his own money into the company as part of the partnership.

Andre Drummond signed an endorsement deal with Jordan Brand back in 2014 and has remained within the larger Nike family ever since, regularly lacing up Jordans, LeBrons, and Kobes throughout his career.
