Giannis Antetokounmpo finished with 37 points and 10 rebounds in Greece’s 84-79 win over Israel in the round of 16 of EuroBasket 2025.
Antetokounmpo shot 18-23 from the field in the game. Greece shot just 4-of-25 from the 3-point line.
“One of the top three players in the world, his game is very strong and unique, and there’s not much you can do,” said Israel head coach Ariel Beit-Halahmy about Antetokounmpo’s performance.
Deni Avdija lead Israel with 22 points and three rebounds.
Earlier in the day, Luka Doncic scored 42 points to lead Slovenia to the quarterfinals.
