For the most part, LaMelo Ball shoes are synonymous with loud, in-your-face colorways that speak to the energy of both LaMelo and his young fanbase. We have, however, seen plenty of styles that pass muster for even the most conservative dressers.
Here we have the PUMA MB.05 “Mist,” an almost all-white colorway spruced up with gold detailing. The TPU wings remain a focal point, accompanied by a leather tongue and textured synthetic material across the forefoot, quarter, and heel.
The first half of the Charlotte Hornets’ season left something to be desired, but LaMelo and co. have rather commendably turned things around since Christmas. The Hornets have the league’s No. 1 offense and No. 1 net rating since then, and are currently trying to add to a nine-game win streak, the franchise’s longest dating back to 1999. With Tyrese Haliburton out with an Achilles injury, PUMA is certainly hoping LaMelo can give the brand some postseason shine come springtime. LaMelo’s Hornets are currently in the Play-In Tournament picture as the #10 seed in the East and could move higher with continued good play.
