The New York Knicks beat the Boston Celtics 119-81 in Game 6 to win the series at Madison Square Garden on Friday night.

The Knicks are now in the Eastern Conference finals for the first time since 2000.

“Probably,” said Tom Thibodeau when asked if this was the team’s best postseason performance thus far. “I thought from start to finish that we were terrific.”

The 38-point margin also represents the largest postseason win in team history.

Jalen Brunson and OG Anunoby lead the scoring with 23 points each. Mikal Bridges had 22 points, with Karl-Anthony Towns finishing with 21 points.

Josh Hart had a triple double with 10 points, 11 assists, and 11 rebounds.

Bridges looked forward to the next round.

“I just think there’s still more to go. We’re not done,” said Bridges. “We played hard and handled business, but the season’s not over yet.”

The Knicks will host the Pacers on Wednesday night.
