The Nike Book 2 “Sunburst” Goes From PE To Public

It’s officially the offseason for Devin Booker and the Phoenix Suns, but all things considered, it wouldn’t be fair to write off their most recent campaign as a failure. They’re not the only ones to fall at the hands of the reigning champs, and given they came off a year in which a top-heavy roster fell short of the play-in entirely, Book propelling a scrappy group into the playoffs proper was a marked improvement over what the NBA universe at large expected from his squad.

Notable for our purposes, this stems what had been an unrelenting tide of Nike Book 2 PE editions, so often brought onto the hardwood at the Mortgage Matchup Center. Yet a taste of that game action is at hand all the same, as the Nike Book 2 “Sunburst” drops off official images ahead of a public release. First debuted by Devin during their first play-in game, these studio shots depict a one-to-one adaptation; the Spiridon-approved mesh build is on tap here, coated in “Court Purple” through most of the uppers before adding a fade orange Swoosh and icy translucent traction.
