UConn’s roster is set for the 2026-27 men’s basketball season, the program announced Monday.
Egor Amosov, a 6-foot-7 forward from Russia, was the final piece added Monday to complete the 15-man unit which includes 10 newcomers and five returners.
Amosov, 18, will enter the program as a freshman after playing the 2025-26 season with Real Madrid in the Spanish Liga U (U22). He was the Liga U Player of the Year after averaging 14.6 points, 6.0 rebounds, 2.8 assists and 2.5 steals over 30 games. He led the team to a 25-5 record and a win over Barca in the title game on May 17.
“Egor is an exciting young prospect who brings versatility at the forward spot,” head coach Dan Hurley said in a team release. “His skillset fits what we look for in wing players and raises the level of that position group. We think that can compete to make an impact right away.”
