Bradley said the announcement itself was only a final step in a process he believes had been settled behind the scenes.
“What we saw yesterday was just a formality. That’s it. They got to go through the motions. This was already set up well before this was even announced,” said Tim Bradley on his Youtube channel.
Bradley said he had no interest in being part of the launch conversation because, in his view, the outcome had already been determined.
“Everybody saying, Tim, why you ain’t there? One, I wasn’t invited. Two, if I was invited, I wasn’t going to go because I know already. I’m not stupid,” said Bradley.
He also pointed to Dana White waiting for the right time and right structure before making a serious move into boxing.
“When Dana White decided to come in the game, it was already set up. It’s already over.”
Bradley described TKO as a highly organized force that traditional boxing interests may struggle to match.
“These people that you dealing with TKO, they the coldest in the game. They smart people. You can’t mess with them.”
He then turned his focus to fighters, warning them to maximize earnings while current paydays remain available because he expects the business model to change over time.
“Get your money right now because the future of boxing ain’t nobody gonna want to be fighting for no damn minimum wage.”
