The return of one of the most vibrant races on the calendar calls for one thing – special designs. Whether it is a constructor’s home race, a special team milestone, or immersing into the 305 spirit, Miami marks the perfect occasion for a one-off look to wow the Floridian fans.

Let’s take a look at all the eye-catching efforts for this year’s race weekend…

Cadillac’s homecoming look

Cadillac celebrate their first-ever F1 race on home soil this weekend, and there’s no better way to celebrate the occasion than with a special livery.

Their design includes a patriotic twist to their usual black and white livery – a Stars and Stripes theme with 50 stars on the front wing (one per US state). The rear wing also includes a pop of colour – red, white, and blue spelling out ‘USA’.

Of course, drivers Valtteri Bottas and Sergio Perez will be donning special edition race suits to boot, in what looks to be an exciting weekend for the new US-based team.

Racing Bulls loving life in lime

Just when you thought Racing Bulls had already peaked with their pink livery for Miami 2025, they went and did it again! This weekend, the team swapped the candyfloss vibe for citrus – and launched a striking yellow livery inspired by the Summer Edition Sudachi Lime Red Bull.

And in classic Racing Bulls style, the unveiling was a spectacle. Miami royalty DJ Khaled was on hand to build the hype pre-reveal, before a water-skier launched himself over the car, ripping off the cover mid-air, whilst Liam Lawson and Arvid Lindblad watched on from their jet skis – anything but understated!

On top of this, the team will be decked out in matching lime kit this weekend, meaning you can’t miss them out on track or in the paddock. If there was ever a team that understood the assignment in Miami, it’s Racing Bulls – consider that Magic City brief well and truly nailed!

Yellow returns for Alpine

Alpine are getting into the Miami spirit too, adding a splash of yellow to the car and rear wing, courtesy of their Argentine sponsors Mercado Libre. For long-time fans of the team, this livery gives a nostalgic vibe – the yellow gives the A526 a similar feel to the team’s Renault days from the mid-2000s.

Mercedes’ purple reign

Mercedes have once again gone all-in on the Miami race weekend with a special race suit, this time swapping their usual dark teal for a vivid purple in collaboration with partner Nu. Their Miami-special race suits proved a good luck charm last season too – the race weekend brought Kimi Antonelli his first Sprint pole and a Grand Prix podium for George Russell, so the omens are looking pretty good.

Magenta Max

Max Verstappen loves a Miami helmet mix-up, donning a special design almost every year since 2022, but his latest might be the boldest one yet. Even in the ever colourful and vibrant Sunshine State, the purple and pink lid should stand out all weekend long.

Candy colours for Checo

To celebrate Cadillac’s first race in the US, Perez is bringing out all the stops. In addition to the teams’ special livery and race suits, the Mexican driver has opted for a unique Miami-inspired lid to mark the occasion. Consisting of an eye-catching mix of pastel rose, pink and teal shades, is it making anyone else crave candyfloss?

Bottas goes full 90s

Valtteri Bottas enlisted his partner, cyclist Tiffany Cromwell, to design his Miami helmet – and the result is something of a love letter to 1990s Miami. The mint and lilac design is packed with Memphis movement patterns, retro motifs and even a pink Cadillac illustration, with Bottas’ race number rendered in Comic Sans – absolutely perfect for the 305 vibe.

Ocon’s chrome-tastic glow

The grid’s number one special edition helmet enthusiast, Esteban Ocon, has produced yet another flawless lid for the Miami race weekend. The Haas driver was clearly inspired by the tropical deco palette that the 305 is known for and added a bold twist: chrome. If any city was going to inspire a chrome finish, it was always going to be Miami!

Bortoleto soaking in the Miami sunset

Gabriel Bortoleto also decided Miami was the perfect setting for a fresh helmet design. The Brazilian’s lid takes its cues from Miami’s breathtaking sunsets, awash in deep purples and burnt oranges.

Furthermore, Bortoleto and his Audi team mate Nico Hulkenberg will also be stepping out in special race suits this weekend intertwined with pastel pink and blues, making it a full head-to-toe Miami moment for the duo this weekend.

Superhero specials for Sainz

Carlos Sainz has unveiled his dedicated US helmet, which he’ll wear at all three American Grands Prix this season. The bold red, white and blue design features striking geometric patterns, a red star, and “Miami” written in cursive for this race weekend – and of course the chilli makes an appearance too.

Fresh off the back of Williams announcing their new collaboration with Marvel, we have no doubt that Sainz will look every bit the superhero in this fresh lid!
