The Turkish Grand Prix will make a very welcome return to the Formula 1 calendar in 2027! Six years on from the last race held at Istanbul Park – and over 15 years since the end of the track’s initial stint on the calendar – demand for tickets for the 2027 Turkish Grand Prix is expected to be high.
When it was last held, in 2021, tickets for the Turkish Grand Prix were relatively inexpensive, with the most expensive Main Grandstand seats priced at €415, and General Admission tickets priced from just €37. Ticket prices for the 2027 Turkish Grand Prix have not yet been announced but are expected to be more expensive than the 2021 prices.
The race will likely take place in September 2027, though the official dates will not be confirmed until Formula 1 reveals its full calendar for the 2027 season. Here’s all the currently available information about buying tickets for the event.
When Do Tickets Go On Sale For the 2027 Turkish Grand Prix?
It has not yet been announced when tickets for the 2027 Turkish Grand Prix will go on sale. It is unlikely that tickets will be available before the 2027 F1 calendar is formally revealed. In the meantime, fans are invited to pre-register their interest in buying tickets via the official website. Turkish Grand Prix Tickets: Need to Know

It is yet to be announced whether discounted ticket prices for children will be available for the 2027 Turkish Grand Prix.
The Main Grandstand (opposite the pit lane) is the only covered grandstand at Istanbul Park.
Large viewing screens should be visible from all grandstands around the track.

Where to Watch the Action at the 2027 Turkish Grand Prix
Main Grandstand
The Main Grandstand at Istanbul Park overlooks the start/finish straight, the teams’ garages and the podium celebrations. For the last race here, in 2021, it was divided into four sections – from left to right: Gold 1, Platinum, Gold 2 and Gold 3. The Platinum section was the most expensive, as it directly overlooked the starting grid and finish line. Gold 3 is located closer to Turn 1 and the pit exit.
In 2021, the grandstand was located in close proximity to the F1 Fan Zone, a hub of activity over race weekend, complete with entertainment and food stalls. The stand also benefits from ample large video screens to follow the action, and is also the only covered grandstand at the circuit.
Gold Open Grandstand
Offering views of the final two turns at Istanbul Park, the Gold Open Grandstand is located closer to the pit lane than the Main Grandstand and, as the name suggests, is uncovered. You’ll also get a view of the main straight and the rear of the starting grid.
Silver 1
Silver 1 is located on the outside of Turn 1 – the 90 degree left-hand turn which is often a scene of high drama on Sunday afternoon. From here, you’ll see the cars head towards you from the starting grid (if you’re at the south end of the stand), and you’ll also get a good view of the pit exit. Seats in the higher rows of this grandstand, above the catch fencing, are recommended. A large video screen will be opposite the grandstand to keep track of the action.
Silver 2
See the drivers battle through Turns 3, 4, 5 and 6 from the Silver 2 Grandstand. This is a great place to see the drivers tackle elevation changes in qualifying. Seating in the higher rows is recommended for the most expansive views of the track.
Silver 3
In a similar area of track to Silver 2, the Silver 3 Grandstand is located adjacent to the straight after Turn 6 and gives a good view of the previous three technical turns, with all their gradient changes.
Silver 4
If you want to see Istanbul Park’s famous Turn 8 in all of its glory, this is the grandstand for you! Silver 4 is located on the exit of the multi-apex corner, dubbed the most difficult to master at the circuit by the drivers. Expect to see plenty of them running wide here throughout the weekend. The only downside is that this grandstand is a long way from the circuit’s main Fan Zone, located at the opposite end of the track.
Silver 5
Silver 5 provides good views of the braking zone into Turns 9 and 10, a tricky downhill chicane. Overtaking is common here – and it can be a challenge for drivers to get their cars slowed efficiently to provide the best qualifying lap time.
Silver 6
Silver 6 is located next to Silver 5, facing the long straight which leads to the Turns 9 and 10 chicane. Seats in the higher rows will offer better views of the cars approaching.
Silver 7
At the end of the back straight, you’ll find the Silver 7 Grandstand. Situated at the heaviest braking point at Istanbul Park, this is a hotspot for potential overtaking moves as the drivers enter the final corners of the circuit. From here, you’ll see Turns 12, 13 and 14, plus the pit entry and the start of the main straight. The Fan Zone is a short walk away.
Silver 8
Silver 8 is another grandstand located in the final sector. This stand overlooks the final corners and those in the southernmost section of the grandstand will get a view of the main straight and the rear of the starting grid. Seats in the higher rows are highly recommended for the best views from this location.
Silver 9
Silver 9 is located at Turn 11, the slight bend on an otherwise long straight. Head here if you want to see the cars running at speed, otherwise there are better views available elsewhere around the track.
General Admission
General Admission is a cost-effective way of viewing the action at the Turkish Grand Prix. Last time F1 raced at Istanbul Park, General Admission was divided into three sections between Turns 1 and 9. With better flexibility than a grandstand ticket, General Admission access allows you to pick a different viewing spot each day. Be sure to arrive early to secure the best vantage points.
