The 2026 Dutch Grand Prix will be one to remember as Zandvoort marks the end of a historic chapter in Formula 1.

After a 36-year absence, F1 returned to Circuit Zandvoort in 2021 and what followed was a series of legendary events where world-class motorsport and a unique festival atmosphere came together in an iconic sea of orange.

In 2026, the 40th and final F1 event at the coastal circuit will be held, with renowned Dutch DJ and record producer Martin Garrix delivering the official grand finale of the Dutch Grand Prix – closing an era that firmly placed the Netherlands on the global motorsport map.

Having established itself as a leading sustainable sporting event with pioneering technologies that are now used across the Formula 1 calendar, the Dutch Grand Prix weekend will also host a packed schedule of track action.

With the addition of Garrix, the final Dutch Grand Prix – following the decision taken by the promoter not to remain on the F1 calendar after 2026 – will, for the last time, be a multi-day festival of sport, music, and experience.

The combination of action-packed racing and incredible live entertainment makes the 2026 event the ultimate final farewell that fans will long remember, and ticket demand is expected to be high.

Garrix, headliner of the world’s largest festivals such as Tomorrowland and Ultra Music Festival, is looking forward to giving his home crowd the ultimate send-off and said: “The energy of the Dutch Grand Prix is incredible.

“As a huge F1 fan, it feels truly special to close this chapter and celebrate with fans from all over the world in the Netherlands. I’ve attended Zandvoort multiple times, and the energy from the crowd is unmatched.”

Jan Lammers, sporting director of the Dutch Grand Prix, added: “The Dutch Grand Prix is about much more than racing alone; it’s a total experience. With Martin Garrix, we add an unparalleled musical spectacle.

“He’s not only one of the world’s biggest artists, but also an icon representing the Netherlands on the global stage — just like Max Verstappen does in Formula 1.”
