The Miami Grand Prix has been a huge success since first joining the Formula 1 calendar in 2022, with attendances growing at the event year-on-year. F1 returns to Florida for the fifth running of the Miami Grand Prix on May 1-3, 2026. The race, which is held on the new track around Hard Rock Stadium, promises to be an action-packed affair, with the near sell-out crowd having lots to look forward to.

For the first time in 2026, the on-track action gets underway on Thursday with support categories taking to the circuit for practice sessions. On Friday, the only hour of Formula 1 Free Practice begins before qualifying takes place for the Sprint, which makes its third appearance in Miami this year. The Sprint race and Grand Prix qualifying follows on Saturday, before the main event – the 2026 Miami Grand Prix – on Sunday.
But there’s much more to enjoy than just the on-track action in Miami. In its fifth year on the schedule, Miami is still embracing F1’s presence with a number of special events lined up for race goers in the days leading up to the Grand Prix.
McLaren Racing Live
McLaren are bringing their “most ambitious US fan experience yet” to Miami for the 2026 Miami Grand Prix, with a team takeover of Regatta Harbour from Wednesday April 29 to race day, Sunday May 3.

The fan zone is free to access, though a free ticket must be purchased for access to the showrun. The last remaining tickets are available via Eventbrite.
