What’s on at this year’s Dutch Grand Prix, including music acts and F1 Fanzone activities

Formula 1 returns from the summer break at Circuit Zandvoort this weekend for the 2025 Dutch Grand Prix. The seaside track is one of the most unique stops on the calendar, combining undulating, high-speed racing with a summer festival feel.

The action isn’t just limited to the track either. All weekend long, the F1 Fanzone will be buzzing with driver appearances, live music, and interactive experiences – plus food and drink that goes beyond trackside classics, including luxury hospitality options.

With the beach just steps away, the Dutch Grand Prix offers fans a thrilling blend of motorsport and entertainment. So whether it’s your first time at a Formula 1 Grand Prix or you’re back for another year, Zandvoort is set to deliver a thrilling weekend that all F1 fans dream of.

Race Schedule

Three days of action keep the circuit buzzing, from practice sessions to the all-important Qualifying and, of course, the Grand Prix itself. Here’s when to catch every moment (all times local):

Friday 29 August

Free Practice 1: 1230 – 1330
Free Practice 2: 1600 – 1700

Saturday 30 August

Free Practice 3: 1130 – 1230
Qualifying: 1500 – 1600

Sunday 31 August

Even more racing action

In addition to the return of Formula 1, F1 ACADEMY and the Porsche Mobil 1 Supercup both return to compete over the Zandvoort weekend. With the championship battle heating up in both series, the action is not to be missed.

Live music & performances

The Fanzone Main Stage brings festival vibes all weekend long — with Dutch pop stars, rock bands, hip-hop acts and world-class DJs including Oliver Heldens and Afrojack, not to mention the all-important driver and team appearances throughout the three days.

All ticket holders for the Grand Prix weekend can enjoy live performances on the Fan Zone stage, so be sure to head over and join in the fun.

1730 – 1830: Samuel Welten, Mart Hoogkamer and Gerard Joling (Dutch Pop)
1900 – 2000: Kensington (Rock / Alternative)
2030 – 2130: 90s Closing Party (DJ Set)

Saturday

0945 – 1025: F1 Drivers Q&As
1230 – 1250: F1 Academy Q&As
1645 – 1745: Baby Blue (Indie Pop)
1800 – 1830: Kraantje Pappie (Hip Hop / Rap)
1930 – 1930: Rapid (Pop)
1945 – 2045: Oliver Heldens (Electronic / House)

Sunday

1730 – 1800: Yves Berendse (Dutch Pop)
1815 – 1845: Snollebollekes (Party)
1930 – 2030: Afrojack (DJ)

To enjoy even more live music and entertainment, fans with tickets near the starting grid should head to their seats early on Sunday before the Grand Prix, as Dutch stars Yves Berendse, Outsiders, Henk Poort, Gerard Joling will perform on the grid for the Pre-Race Show.

The F1 Fanzone

The F1 Fanzone is the heartbeat of the weekend, located just behind the final corner near Gate 2. Open from morning until late each day, it’s included with your race ticket, giving fans access to a packed line-up of entertainment and activities. Food & drink

From gourmet food to classic trackside bites and food trucks serving tastes from around the world, Zandvoort keeps fans fuelled all weekend long.

Trackside classics: including sandwiches, fries, burgers, hot dogs, fish and chips
Street food options: including wood-fired pizzas, Mexican bites, Asian flavours
Drinks: Free water refill stations throughout the circuit, soft drinks, refreshment stalls and beer gardens

Guests with hospitality tickets can enjoy exclusive access to luxury food and beverages included as part of their experience – with carefully curated menus prepared by high-quality chefs and premium bars serving throughout each day.
