The Washington Wizards are signing Australian forward Akoldah Gak to an Exhibit 10 contract. Gak will join the Wizards on a non-guaranteed training camp deal.
The 6-foot-11 forward played for Washington at Summer League. In three games, Gak averaged 4.7 points, 4.0 rebounds and 1.7 assists in 16.8 minutes per game. The 23-year-old big man also played in 12 games for the Capital City Go-Go of the G League last season.
Gak has also played for Illawarra and Cairns of Australia’s NBL over the last five seasons. In 25 games for Cairns last season, Gak averaged 6.4 points and 5.6 rebounds in 19.6 minutes per game.
