Rivals ranks Oladotun as the No. 6 overall recruit in the 2027 class, No. 3 small forward in the country, and No. 1 player coming out of the state of Maryland. 247 Sports has ranked No. 1 across the board. The 6-8, 165-pound small forward is considering reclassifying to 2026.
Out of James Hubert Blake in Silver Spring, Maryland, Oladotun has a long reach and a pure-looking jump shot, drawing comparisons to Kevin Durant. He has a high release coming off the bounce or off the catch, making it impossible for defenders to block his shot. Oladotun’s frame is overall extremely skinny, but that will continue to change as he’s just 16 years old.
Gonzaga has also expressed interest in Dooney Johnson from Milwaukee Juneau, Wisconsin, and Jalen Davis from Bremerton, Washington, in the 2027 recruiting class. Johnson is a 6-5 small forward, and Davis is a 6-2 shooting guard.
