Auburn football continues to build the offensive line with the commitment of Oregon State transfer offensive lineman Jacob Strand.
Auburn is focused on building a solid group of linemen to protect newly acquired quarterback Byrum Brown. The Tigers currently have three returning offensive linemen from the 2025 season and have added Cole Best, Stanton Ramil, Joseph Simmons, and Cole Skinner.

Stand is a 6-5, 302-pound addition to what the Tigers are building under head coach Alex Golesh. Strand appeared in 17 games for the Beavers over four years. After waiting his turn, Strand became the starting left tackle for Oregon State during the 2025 season before an injury altered his playing time. In all, he has 672 snaps of experience, primarily at tackle. In his time at Oregon State, he allowed just one sack and committed three penalties.
The redshirt senior only played six games this previous year, and Pro Football Focus graded him a 64.6. Strand is from Canby, Oregon, and now joins his former Oregon State teammate, quarterback Tristan Ti’a.
