Clemson added another piece from the transfer portal on Wednesday, picking up Oklahoma defensive tackle Markus Strong.
Strong committed while visiting campus, giving the Tigers additional depth along the interior defensive line. The 6-foot-2, 297-pound redshirt sophomore played in 10 games this past season as a reserve, finishing with seven tackles, two tackles for loss and one sack. He also made an impact in key moments, including recording a safety late in the year.

Earlier in his career, Strong saw limited action, appearing in three games prior to this season, but he showed some pass-rush ability with two sacks during that stretch. He arrives with two years of eligibility remaining.
Strong becomes Clemson’s seventh transfer portal addition and the second defensive lineman to join the class, following Kourtney Kelly, who committed earlier on Wednesday.
