The rules for this exercise were fairly simple: If they attended the school, even if they transferred, that means it counts for this list. So, yes, Jalen Hurts appears here for both Alabama and Oklahoma. Landon Dickerson also appears here for both Florida State and Alabama.
Also, if the player is on the injured reserve or future reserve, it still counts. As long as they were included on the roster for Pro Football Reference, they made the list. But those who will not play in the game were designated as such.
For the second year in a row, the top two schools remain the exact same: Oklahoma and Georgia. Here is the rest of the list:
