Dan Lanning and the Oregon Ducks are putting together an elite 2027 class.
This comes off the heels of Lanning’s 2026 class finishing ranked No. 3 in the country, according to the 247Sports Composite rankings, so the future of Oregon football is absolutely bright.
Back to 2027, though. Oregon picked up a commitment on Thursday from one of the top interior offensive line recruits in the country.
That commitment came from Gus Corsair.
He chose Lanning and the Ducks over the Miami Hurricanes and Vanderbilt Commodores. What Oregon can offer him in terms of support and coaching played a massive role, as he tells it.
What stood out about Oregon?
“I would say how many offensive line coaches they have,” he told ScoopDuck. “They have six O-line coaches, which is huge for development. I’m very excited about the opportunity to play at Oregon because of the relationships, place, and development I would receive.”
