Jeremiah Smith solidified himself as one of the best players in college football during his freshman season at Ohio State. Although his story is far from over, fans are already excited to see what the future has in store for his younger brother.

Smith’s younger brother, Angelo, is a member of the 2027 recruiting class. He plays wide receiver and safety for Chaminade-Madonna. As of now, 247Sports has him ranked as the No. 29 safety and No. 32 recruit from Florida.

One thing for certain is that Smith’s brother has a ton of confidence in his game.

“I feel like I’m gonna be a better player than him, I know that,” Angelo told Eleven Warriors. “I play both sides of the ball. I’m definitely a game-changer.”

That’s a bold statement to make considering Smith had 76 receptions for 1,315 yards and 15 touchdowns in his first year at Ohio State.

Luckily for Angelo, he’ll get a chance to prove himself at the collegiate level.

On Tuesday afternoon, Smith’s brother revealed that he received a scholarship offer from Ohio State.

“Woww!! Extremely blessed to earn an offer from The Ohio State University,” he announced on social media.

Unsurprisingly, Ohio State fans are already recruiting Smith’s brother to Columbus.

“Continue the legacy bro! come home,” one fan replied to Angelo’s post.

“Could be THE most decorated family to ever attend the same University,” another fan said.

Of course, the talented safety from Chaminade-Madonna has plenty of time to decide if he wants to take his talents to Ohio State.

It’s worth noting that Miami and Toledo have also offered scholarships to Smith’s brother.
