Jeremiyah Love hypes fellow Notre Dame RB Jadarian Price ahead of draft

Notre Dame Fighting Irish star Jeremiyah Love won the 2025 Doak Walker Award as the best running back in college football. He believes teammate Jadarian Price could’ve done the same elsewhere.

Love, a potential top-five pick in the 2026 NFL Draft (scheduled April 23-25 in Pittsburgh), has been getting more attention than Price. But he’s ensuring his fellow RB gains more recognition in the weeks leading up to the three-day event.

Jeremiyah Love hypes Jadarian Price ahead of NFL Draft

“I tell everybody this. I feel like JD can do everything I can do, if not more,” Love said of Price for a story published Thursday by USA Today’s Jacob Camenker.

Price (5-foot-11, 203 pounds) shared a backfield with Love (6-foot, 212 pounds) for the past three seasons. During this span, Love finished seventh in program history in rushing yards (2,882 on 433 carries) and third in rushing touchdowns (36).

Price produced solid numbers as well. In three seasons with the Fighting Irish, he ran for 1,692 yards on 280 carries and scored 21 rushing TDs and proved to be a game-changer in the return game.

“He does it way better than me,” Love said of Price’s impact in the return game.

The numbers back Love’s claim. Price returned three kickoffs for TDs over the course of his college career, two of which came this season. In 2025, he averaged an FBS-leading 37.5 yards per kickoff return. For his efforts, he was named a 2025 Paul Hornung Award finalist as the most versatile player in the country.
