The Notre Dame Fighting Irish are building an impressive 2027 recruiting class, and it just got a lot better.
Marcus Freeman’s success on the field has translated to the recruiting trail, as it always does, and his latest recruiting win is more than notable.
On Monday, the Fighting Irish picked up a commitment from four-star tight end Titus Hawk. Checking in at 6-foot-7, 210 pounds, Hawk is an elite athlete who is also planning on playing baseball for Notre Dame.
He visited South Bend last month and came away impressed.
“Just the culture and everything about it, the school, the people,” Hawk told Rivals, discussing why he likes Notre Dame so much.
From Choctaw, Oklahoma, Hawk had an opportunity to play college ball in-state and the Oklahoma Sooners were amongst his top teams. The Florida Gators and Alabama Crimson Tide were also strong contenders for his commitment.
Everything from the staff to the way Notre Dame wants to use Hawk just made sense to him, though.
