No. 24 Utah made a statement with its 45-14 victory over No. 17 Cincinnati late Saturday night at Rice-Eccles Stadium.

The Utes never trailed and controlled the tempo much of the night in boosting their hopes of contending for a spot in the Big 12 title game.

Here’s a sampling of what social media was saying during the top 25 matchup.

Ooof, Utah is absolutely working Cincinnati over.

— Sickos Committee (@SickosCommittee) November 2, 2025

This Utah vs Cincinnati game is going just about how I expected.

Cincinnati is a good football team. But like I’ve posted before their fundamental issue is that their defense isn’t going to cut it against the best teams in the conference. They’ve given up a lot of yards all…

— HoboJ (@HoboJ_) November 2, 2025

Bearcats run defense can’t hold back the power behind this Utah rushing attack, they score. We’re down 24-7.

— Medizin (@Medizinnee) November 2, 2025

Utah’s Mana Carvalho got the confidence he needed two punt returns ago. And wow, he just moved different & with a purpose on that punt return TD. Electric.

— Alex Markham (@AMarkham_UN) November 2, 2025

CARVALHO!!! PUNT RETURN FOR A TOUCHDOWN!!! YAHOO!!!

— ⭕️🪶Not the real Creed Bratton ⭕️🪶 (@Ebom21) November 2, 2025

First it was not playing Daniel Bray, then it was Creed Whittemore. Clearly both should’ve been playing all year!

— StGeezyUte (@geezy_ute) November 2, 2025

Utah is much better than Cincinnati and its not close. Cincinnati has had a very weak schedule. Utah is dominating them in all phases

— WhittsBurner (@WhittsBurner) November 2, 2025

Utah is giving Cincinnati the business

— College Sports Superfan (@eisner_ryan) November 2, 2025

Cincinnati having a receiver named Covey is unnatural to hear as a Utah fan.

— ⭕🪶 Peace, Love, & Utes ⭕🪶 (@peaceloveutes) November 2, 2025

You can tell Utah has played in big games this year and Cincinnati hasn’t.

— jayhill4prez (@mr_queso_man) November 2, 2025

I can’t find a clip but Utah picking off Sorsby just to fumble it back to UC was peak Pac-12 After Dark
