The 2025 NFL Draft just wrapped up, and over the next few months, there’s going to be plenty of ink spilled regarding the rookies that will be entering the NFL this upcoming season.
NFL Draft expert Todd McShay is already working on the 2026 NFL Draft, though. Sure, it’s early, but the NFL has made the evaluation of prospects a 24/7, yearly thing.
This is likely going to change hundreds of times before the 2026 draft rolls around, but it’s worth noting that McShay does see a quarterback going No. 1 overall. While there are some notable names, like Clemson’s Cade Klubnik and Penn State’s Drew Allar, LSU quarterback Garrett Nussmeier is the quarterback McShay thinks will go No. 1 overall.
