Top 2026 recruit locks in his official visit with Colorado

It would make sense for a top wide receiver to consider Colorado, if only because of the chance to play for someone who knew a thing or two about locking down top wideouts in Deion Sanders.

Throw in the fact that “Coach Prime” was able to get Travis Hunter a Heisman Trophy, though, plus all the hype that comes around with the Buffaloes is as good a reason as any to roll with Colorado.

Of course, not every wideout can also be a lockdown cornerback like Hunter could, but that’s not the point here. The point is, top athletes are absolutely looking at Colorado as a top option.

As such, it’s important to keep an eye on five-star wide receiver Cederian Morgan from Alexander City, Alabama. He had recently named Colorado amongst his top schools, but he had not yet locked in his official visit.

Per Hayes Fawcett of On3, that has now changed. He’ll be taking his official trip to Boulder on May 9.

“I’m looking forward to meeting their coaching staff and feeling their energy,” Morgan told Fawcett regarding the Buffaloes. “They are sitting as one of the tops in my recruitment.”
