Chris Henry Jr., the next 5-star receiving phenom at Ohio State, has officially signed his letter of intent, the OSU football program announced on Friday.
It’s been a long two days in trying to assure Henry after the departure of Buckeye Offensive Coordinator and Wide Receivers coach Brian Hartline. The OSU assistant has coached and developed many 5-star receivers during his time in Columbus, and he was the main coach responsible for landing Henry, who grew up in the Cincinnati area but moved to California to finish out his high school career.

Instead of signing on Wednesday after announcing that he was still staying with Ohio State, Henry put a pause on things to make sure he was making the right move. That’s when programs like USC, Oregon, and Texas reportedly made a late, aggressive push to try and flip the Mater Dei standout.
In the end, though, Henry reaffirmed his verbal pledge to Ohio State live on the Pat McAfee show Friday, and now, he has sent in his letter of intent, making it all official. He should be the next really fun one to watch coming out of the wide receiver room on the banks of the Olentangy.
