There’s a bitter rivalry between the Washington Huskies and Oregon Ducks.
These two Pacific Northwest programs are now both in the Big Ten, and they’re in different spots. Dan Lanning has built what looks to be a perennial College Football Playoff contender at Oregon. Washington is trying to rebuild in the post-Kalen DeBoer era with head coach Jedd Fisch. He went 6-7 last season with a loss in the Sun Bowl, though the Huskies did pick up a marquee win over No. 10 Michigan at home.
Fisch is trying to build the Huskies back up, which makes the recruiting trail so important. On that note, Washington got a massive win on Thursday. It was announced that Kodi Greene, a five-star offensive tackle from Santa Ana, California, flipped his commitment from Oregon to Washington.
