A Tomi Domene double and a 64th minute winner from Eliot Curty saw Waterloo Ducks win the Belgian men’s title for the sixth time.
They won their two-legged battle with Braxgata 4-3 on aggregate with Sunday’s 3-2 second leg in Wavre the decisive contest after day one ended level.
Thibeau Stockbroekx had given Brax the lead in the second leg in just the third minute but two beauties from Domene in the first half swapped the advantage.
Arthur Van Doren equalised midway through the second half to keep the contest in the balance right until the closing stages where Curty snatched the winner, finishing off from Domene’s cross.
The victory sees Waterloo advance direct to the EHL Men’s FINAL8 next Easter while Brax will go into the FINAL12.
