Mike Harrington: Buffalo Sabres forward Sam Carrick is out week-to-week, but is not ruled out for the playoffs.

NHL: Columbus Blue Jackets forward Mason Marchment missed last night’s game. Forward Mathieu Olivier (upper-body) and defenseman Damon Severson (upper-body) are out for the remainder of the season.

Bruce LeVine: Dallas Stars forwards Roope Hintz and Radek Faksa are skating on their own and may learn more about their status later on in the week. Defenseman Tyler Myers is a possibility for Saturday, but they aren’t going to rush him.

Sam Nestler: Stars forwards Hintz, Faksa, Sam Steel, Michael Bunting, and Nathan Bastian weren’t on the ice.

Robert Tiffin: Stars coach Glen Gulutzan said that all of their injured forwards are at least a week away.

The Toronto Maple Leafs Road Back Will Be Long

New Jersey Devils: Coach Sheldon Keefe said that Arseny Gritsyuk requires surgery and is out for the rest of the season.

NHL: Edmonton Oilers forward Zach Hyman has been dealing with an undisclosed injury. Forward Trent Frederic returned to the lineup after missing the past five games.

Jameson Olive: Florida Panthers defenseman Aaron Ekblad is out weeks with a broken finger. Defenseman Dmitri Kulikov has a pretty badly broken nose. He missed last night’s but wants to play.

Jameson Olive: Panthers forward Cole Schwindt practiced in a regular jersey.

Stefen Rosner: New York Islanders defenseman Alexander Romanov was on the ice in a no-contact jersey.

Stefen Rosner: Islanders forwards Simon Holmstrom (upper-body) and Anders Lee, and defenseman Tony DeAngelo (lower-body) didn’t practice.

Claire Hanna: Ottawa Senators goaltender Carter Yakemchuk missed last night’s game as he’s in concussion protocol. There was no update as to how long he could be out for.

Claire Hanna: Senators coach Travis Green said that defenseman Jake Sanderson is getting “close,” and he’s hopeful that he can return on Saturday or Sunday.

Claire Hanna: Senators coach Green when asked if goaltender Linus Ullmark missing Saturday and if the rest was mental or physical: “I’m not going to get into that. I don’t have to talk about injuries, I don’t have to talk about any of that, he needed a rest & that’s fine. My only concern is getting our team to play, standing behind our players, and I know how good of a team we are when we play and don’t listen to the white noise and don’t let any of that creep into our room. Obviously there’s a lot of talk right now.”

Jordan Hall: Philadelphia Flyers forward Tyson Foerster returned to the lineup last night. His last game was December 1st and had surgery on his arm. He was expected to be out for the season.

Pens Inside Scoop: Pittsburgh Penguins forward Bryan Rust practiced yesterday after missing their last game with a lower-body injury.

Eduardo A. Encina: Tampa Bay Lightning forward Brandon Hagel and defenseman Scott Sabourin missed last night’s game.

NHL: Vegas Golden Knights goaltender Carter Hart returned to the lineup after missing the paste 33 games with a lower-body injury.

Mitchell Clinton: Winnipeg Jets forward Morgan Barron is travelling with the team and practiced in a regular jersey. Forwards Nino Niederreiter and Vladislav Namestnikov practiced in regular jerseys.

Mitchell Clinton: Jets defenseman Collin Miller skated in a no-contact jersey yesterday.
