Australian Grand Prix organisers have announced the headline acts who’ll perform at the Lakeside Festival over the 2026 race weekend.
With Formula 1’s season-opening race under a month away, organisers of the 2026 Australian Grand Prix have announced the three headline acts who’ll perform at the event on March 5-8.
Headline acts at Albert Park have been getting bigger in recent years and this year, the circuit welcomes Rita Ora, Duke Dumont and Basement Jaxx to headline the Lakeside Festival, which is free for race weekend ticket holders to attend.
The Australian Grand Prix is one of the best-attended races on the Formula 1 calendar, with over 450,000 fans packing into Albert Park over four days of wall-to-wall racing action. The event benefits from an expansive support schedule with categories on track including Formula 2, Formula 3, Porsche Carrera Cup and Supercars. The full on-track timetable was announced last week and can be found in our Trackside post.

Basement Jaxx Headline Friday Night
Grammy Award winners Basement Jaxx will get the party started on Friday March 6 at the 2026 Australian Grand Prix with a DJ set featuring some of the British electronic duo’s biggest tracks, like Red Alert, Where’s Your Head At and Good Luck. They’ll be joined by Australian DJ dameeeela.
Rita Ora Performs Post Qualifying
Rita Ora headlines proceedings after qualifying at Albert Park on Saturday March 7. The British singer-songwriter will bring her hits – including Anywhere, Let You Love Me and Praising You – to Melbourne. Iconic Australian electronic band Rogue Traders will be warming up the crowd ahead of Rita Ora’s headline performance.
Duke Dumont Closes Out the Melbourne Weekend
Duke Dumont completes an all-British line-up of headline acts for the 2026 Australian Grand Prix, headlining after the race on Sunday March 8. The DJ is known for hits Need U, I Got U and Won’t Look Back. Multi-platinum Melbourne duo SHOUSE will provide support on Sunday evening, performing their Collective Ecstasy live show with over a dozen vocalists.

2026 Australian Grand Prix Tickets in High Demand
Most ticket categories – including park passes, grandstand seats and premium ticket packages – are already sold out for the 2026 Australian Grand Prix. Attendance at the event has grown in recent years, from 324,000 at the last pre-pandemic race weekend in 2019 to over 465,000 in 2025. The Australian Grand Prix has been the second-best attended race weekend in all of the last four seasons, behind only the British Grand Prix, which welcomed 500,000 fans over four days in 2025.
