The Miami Hurricanes picked up a big commitment on Wednesday from three-star offensive lineman Tyler Ford.
Ford is, literally, a big commitment for Mario Cristobal and the ‘Canes. He checks in at 6-foot-6, 325 pounds, and he’s not even yet played his senior season in high school.
Miami beat out Florida, Florida State, Georgia, Kentucky, Texas A&M and others for this commitment out of Gainesville, Georgia.
Ford took an unofficial visit to Miami less than a week ago, and that was apparently all it took.
He’s also planning on getting back to Coral Gables for an official visit in early June, so this commitment is about as strong as they get for the Hurricanes.
