“The only person that can beat me is Gervonta Davis. The others can’t touch me at all. They have all been in the ring with me and I cracked both of them. It ain’t no 50-50 fight.

How you going to keep me off when you don’t have any power?”

Davis is due make the next defence of his WBA title at 135lbs against Lamont Roach on March 1 at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York.

The 30-year-old made a shock revelation at the end of last year, claiming he intends to retire from boxing within the next 12 months as he admits he has he is tired of the sport and wishes to spend more time with his family.

Although he has not officially announced his future, 2025 could be the 13th and final year of Davis’ glittering boxing career.
