Longtime UFC commentator Joe Rogan believes the UFC White House event had over 150 million views by Monday.
On JRE, Rogan confessed that in his 20 years as a UFC commentator, the June 14 “one-of-one” event was the “wildest” he had ever witnessed and that it exceeded all of his expectations and could definitely be the biggest night in the history of mixed martial arts.
Every fight at UFC Freedom 250 on the South Lawn of the White House ended inside the distance. From the production and graphics to the overall presentation, the event ran smoothly. Despite weather concerns causing a brief delay, once the action got underway, everything went smoothly.
Joe Rogan calls UFC White House main event the “greatest fight of all time,” reveals June 14 card had over 150 million viewers
On a recent episode of JRE, Rogan said:
“That was the wildest experience that I’ve ever had in my twenty-whatsoever years of calling combat sports. There’s nothing even close. Nothing even close. It was the greatest night of fights of all time. The main event was the greatest fight of all time.”
He also shared the viewership figures he has been hearing so far about the UFC Freedom 250 card:
“I don’t know what the total overall views are as of now. But I know that it was well over, I think it was 150 million just by Monday. So that’s the night of, and then people who watched the replay that weren’t there when the fight took place because they heard about it. But between then and now, now we’re dealing with Tuesday. Like, it’s probably another 50 or 60 million people who have watched it.”
Although Paramount+ has not yet released the exact viewership figures, UFC head honcho Dana White told the media during the post fight presser that the streaming platform’s CEO is “going crazy” with the White House event’s numbers. White described it as a “monstrous night” for the UFC and Paramount+
Despite the UFC White House event being a major success, Dana White has no plans on doing it again. He has said:
“I can’t afford it. I’ll never do the Sphere again, and we’ll never do this again.”
