The Oklahoma Sooners have made the NCAA Tournament just once in the Porter Moser era.
Even that trip to the March Madness tournament was not all that much to write home about, though. The Sooners made it in 2024-25 but lost in the first round to UConn.
Moser has been the head coach at Oklahoma since 2021-22, so there’s a chance he may not make it another season if he can’t get the Sooners back to the dance in 2026.
Getting roster construction for next season right is crucial, then, and the Sooners just picked up a big win in that regard via the transfer portal.
Texas A&M transfer guard Pop Isaacs committed to the Sooners on Wednesday.
Isaacs is a 6-foot-2 soon-to-be redshirt senior who has been an incredibly effective scorer during his college career.
